Like most people, social isolation had me searching for alternatives to the hobbies that had been put on hold. Macrame accessories seemed to be the perfect combination of two passions; creativity and a lifelong love of dogs.
I had an idea in mind for a beaded design on a lead that I hadn’t found available to purchase. I bought myself some three strand cotton cord and a handful of raw wooden beads and began turning an idea into a reality. A lot of frustration and an entire roll of cord later, I had my very first prototype.
After extensive trial and error the final product transitioned into one made of braided cord, clay beads and solid brass hardware.
And so Knots for Dais was born; named after a beautiful, loving, sassy little Moodle called Daisy.
